EVENT REPORT
Sorry for the late report!
As usual,
the sound wasn't very good, but it was better than most
gigs that took place in the last couple of months, but
luckily when we played we managed to deal well with the
mixer and the sound became great; thanks for the help from
Ramzi Essayed the vocalist of Bilocate, also thanks to
Rami Haikal, guitarist of Bilocate for lending us his
distortion pedal because we had troubles with one of our
pedals.. Horns up guys!
Now lets
talk about the bad part of the gig:
As usual,
something must happen to fuck things up. As we were the
last band performing we were forced to stop playing by the
venue managers after only 4 songs saying that the gig time
was over. 2 days before the gig I was informed by the gig
main manager "Rami Mattar" that we were scheduled to end
the show as the last band, so I directly told him to
cancel the show for us, because this isn't the first time
that we do not complete a show because of playing last, but the manager gave me a word that we will surely
continue the play-list no matter what happens! Unfortunately, things are becoming only unfulfilled
promises!
"AM FUCKING
PISSED AT THE JORDANIAN SCENE!"
If we
weren't stopped from playing, this would have been by far
the best gig for me personally performance wise compared
to all other gigs that I've done with
all my bands; our performance was so damn
perfect and extreme; the fans went fucking nuts. Also,
horns up to all other bands that performed, they all
rocked!
Our set-list
was as follows:
01 Spirits
and Devils
02 Llama's
Odyssey
03 Fuel for
Hatred (Satyricon cover)
04
Nonexistence (Six Feet Under cover)
05 The
Insect War - Wasn't performed
06 Blood and
Thorns - Wasn't performed
07 Powder
Burns (Bolt Thrower cover) - Wasn't performed
To
summarize, I just want to say again that am so damn pissed
at the Jordanian scene, because I've been dealing
with false promises since a long time and I had enough of
that! By saying this, am not pointing fingers at any band,
because until this moment, I've only seen real
support by bands to each other!
