05.09.2008 - Einherjer Rising Official Logo
Einherjer Rising's official logo is
finally ready.
After the project's name changed from "Phex" to
"Einherjer Rising" a new official logo was needed.
The logo was done by "Luciferium War Graphics" (Norway). Big thanks
to Gragoth of
www.luciferiumwargraphics.com for
the great job he did.
Also, as you can see, the website has a new design... Enjoy!

05.09.2008 - Muhannad Bursheh & Soulbleed
Jordanian
Death/Thrash Metal outfit "Soulbleed" released their debut album
"Echoes in Eternity". I did all vocals on this record as a
session/guest vocalist. I also produced, mixed and mastered the
album as it was recorded at my personal recording studio;
The Phexagon.
You can listen to 2 tracks from the album on Soulbleed's Myspace.com

14.04.2008 - New
Era Promotional Image
Einherjer Rising promo picture now available.
This is the only
picture from the Einherjer Rising Era so far, you can find older
promotional pictures from the Phex era in the "Media-Promotional
Pictures" section.
More over, for those who've been asking about the new album's
progress, here is what you need to know: 7 out of 8 tracks from the
album have been recorded as DEMO versions to give a better idea of
how each song will sound when real recording sessions start. About
those it is still unclear when they will start.

Underground Metal: The Compilation
The track "The Insect War" from the album
"Transfixion (2005)" was featured on "Underground Metal: The
Compilation" CD which was released by USA's label burningPENGUIN
Productions on October 27th, 2007. This compilation was released
before the band name change to "Einherjer Rising", so the track is
featured under the band's old name "Phex".
Also featured on this compilation is my other band:
Augury

30.12.2007 - Einherjer Rising ... A New Era
The name of the project "Phex" has
been changed to "Einherjer Rising". After 7 long years (2001-2007)
for the band I have decided to change the name to Einherjer Rising
because the new sound and theme of the project doesn't fit with the
old name "Phex". After months and months of thinking I have settled
on this stronger and much more representing name. The word Einherjer
is taken from Viking mythology, and since there will be a big
influence on the band's future music and lyrics from Viking
mythology it will be an appropriate name.
Changing the name does not mean that the project is dead and now I
am starting a new one, no; this is the same "Phex" project but only
with a new name! That means future releases under the name
"Einherjer Rising" will be added to the same discography as those
releases under the name "Phex"...
Another 2 very important changes are the band's official website
domain which now became
www.einherjer-rising.com
and the official e-mail address which
became
contact@einherjer-rising.com
... The old domain
www.phex.tk
will still be active, but it will be
redirected to the new domain. Also, Einherjer Rising's official
Myspace page will continue on the old one, but will have a new url:
www.myspace.com/einherjerrising
As for the new album, I am
almost done composing the music and official recording sessions will
start in probably 2 months from now at my personal studio "The
Phexagon". The yet untitled 2nd full-length album will be very
different from the previous one "Transfixion" that was released in
2005. This time the album will be more focused in the Black Metal
field but will be very experimental containing influences from Death
Metal and Ambient Music with complex progressiveness. Also a variety
of instruments will be used other than the default Metal set up
(Distorted guitars, bass, drums and vocals); flute, acoustics
guitars, percussions and keyboards are going to be added here and
there too. This will be the first album under the name "Einherjer
Rising" but it will be considered as the project's 2nd full-length
and will be added to the Phex/Einherjer Rising discography. This is
going to be a kick ass album you have my promise, I am very proud
and excited with the music composed so far.

Phex on Terrorizer Magazine
This is being posted too late, it should have been posted last June,
but I wasn't able to update the website the last couple of months
for some technical problems, but now things are back in action and
there will be a lot of exciting news coming up.
Phex was featured on
"Terrorizer
Magazine"; Extreme Metal's top mag on
issue #158 as a part of The Middle
Eastern Scene report. The report
also featured my two other bands
"Tyrant Throne"
and "Augury"
and Jordanian Doom Metallers "Bilocate".
A big part of the report included answers by myself to questions
from Terrorizer regarding the scene in Jordan and other related
matters.

09.03.2007 - Tyrant Throne: Abominations
These news are posted
late, and they're not related so much to Phex... My Brutal Death
Metal band "Tyrant Throne" released the first EP
entitled "Abominations". Its a 6 tracks EP of straight forward
technical brutality. The EP was described as "One Fucking
Masterpiece" and got a 10/10 rating in the exclusive review that was

12.02.2007 - Muhannad Bursheh on Al-Watan Radio Today
I
will be featured today at 4:00PM as a guest on Al-Watan Radio (Freq:
100.3) and will be talking about Metal music. The talk will be
general since the program is short. But still, I hope that the bad image that people have about Metal
will be at least slightly changed. A song by one of my
bands (Phex,
Tyrant Throne, or
Augury) will be broadcasted during the show.

My
apologies to all the fans who attended yesterday's gig at
Geezer and were expecting Phex and Tyrant Throne to
perform. Although we were supposed to perform and our
name was on the concert posters, but we couldn't make it
to the gig, because, I was informed only 2 days before the
gig that the session guitarist Sirenwave wont be able to
perform due to some personal reasons, so I didn't have the
time to bring a substitute.

Experiments 00-01
Experiments
00-01 is Phex's first ever musical effort, its an
electronic non-metal music demo that was originally released in 2001.
The info about this record are now available on the
"Music" section. This demo was never mentioned before and
only known to a few people because it was never released
officially and was only distributed between some friends,
it didn't even have a cover artwork until so recently when
I decided to count it in the Phex discography. The
second reason is that it is an Electronic music release,
not Metal! It is entitled "Experiment 00-01" simply because it
contains 5 tracks of my musical experiments in 2000 and
2001. Check it from
here

06.01.2006 - Welcome to Jordan
January 6th
(Today's) "Terrorism, We Fight!" gig was cancelled some days ago for some mentally
retarded reasons. Read the following paragraph below,
which was posted by the organizer of the gig from
Jordanmetal.com:
Jordan Metal:
"concert of 6/1 got
cancelled because someone (son of a bitch) told mo5abarat which
warned chili house that the concert that we're doing is about sex,
alcohol, drugs and satanism and that there's gonna be cats blood
drinking (LOL) and recruiting bodies and chili management decided to
cancel the concert because they dont want their company get closed
because of an event! and this guy warned chili house ask well, as
that the owner is getting questionaire this thursday because of
that.. and we caused him trouble.. so no concert because wa7ad o5to
btentak ba3d el dohor said that and screwed us.. and happy new year
jordanian metallers, hay estefta7eyyet 2006 for metal in jordan! if
you could know that sickbastard let me know or pass by chili house
management, mail me on jordan.metal@hotmail.com if you have info/for

Phex will
perform the first official live show on January 06, 2006.

to the hotel bombing that Amman faced sometime ago this
year.

Bursheh -
Vocals/Bass
Zaher
Siryani - Guitar
Sirenwave -
Guitar
For drums and Samplers, we will use a drum machine
